How Does the BC PNP Work?
The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) is a program that nominates skilled workers, entrepreneurs, and investors who can contribute to the province’s economic growth.
There are multiple steps in the application process for the BC PNP, including submitting an online profile, providing supporting documentation, and paying costs. The British Columbia PNP will assess your profile based on the eligibility criteria of the chosen stream. Once the authorities approve, you will receive a nomination certificate for permanent residency that later is submitted to the federal government.
If a candidate uses the Express Entry route, the BC PNP nomination increases their Comprehensive Ranking method (CRS) score by 600 points, maximizing the chances of receiving an invitation to apply for permanent residence.
