Understanding Ontario Provincial Nominee Program – OINP

About Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP)
The province has an economic immigration program called (OINP) which is united with the Canadian government through IRCC. The OINP permits international students, foreign workers, and other individuals with expertise, experience, and education to apply for OINP nominations.

Ontario Immigration Nominee Program (OINP) Streams
The Ontario Immigration Nominee Program owns three categories. The streams under the category operate via Canada’s federal government express entry system.
To qualify, the candidate needs to have a valid IRCC express entry profile along with Ontario’s notification of interest.
The Human Capital Priorities Stream
The candidate can apply under this stream if he has the appropriate skill set, experience, qualification, and language proficiency.
Skilled Trades Stream
The stream allows foreign nationals with the required business skills to apply to work in Ontario.
The French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream
One can apply for the French-speaking skilled worker stream if the candidate is well-versed as a French-speaking foreign worker along with language abilities in English.
Master or Ph.D. degree Category
The streams under the Master’s or Ph.D. degree category run through OINP’s expression of Interest system. Thus, he needs to register an expression of interest system and shall get an ITA.
Graduation in Masters
The candidate must have a master’s degree from Ontario university to apply under the Master’s stream.
Graduation in PhD
The candidate must have a Ph.D. degree from an Ontario University to apply under the Graduate Stream
Employment Job Offer Category in Ontario
To be eligible for the following streams, the candidate must know these streams conduct via OINP’s Expression of Interest System. Thus, he needs to register an expression of interest system and shall get an ITA.
Foreign Worker Stream – Job offer in Ontario
If the candidate is a skilled foreign worker and has an employment job offer in Ontario, he is eligible to apply for the foreign worker stream.
International Student Stream – Job offer in Ontario
If the candidate is a fresh graduate and has a job offer to work in Ontario, he can apply for the International Student Stream
In-Demand Skills Stream
If the candidate is a foreign worker in an in-demand job along with an employment offer in Ontario, he is eligible for the In-demand skills stream.
Business Catagory
The Business Category is for candidates searching to start a business or buy an existing business in Ontario. The program under this category that the immigrants can apply for is the Entrepreneur Stream.
