Ontario Invites 212 French-Speaking Candidates Through OINP

On June 20, 2024, the Ontario Immigration Nominee Program (OINP) conducted its second round of invitations for the Express Entry French-Speaking Skilled Worker stream. In this latest draw, the OINP issued 212 Notifications of Interest (NOIs) to Francophone candidates, reinforcing Ontario’s commitment to attracting French-speaking talent to the province.

Candidates who received NOIs had Comprehensive Ranking Scores (CRS) ranging from 305 to 409 points. The Express Entry profiles of these candidates were created between June 20, 2023, and June 20, 2024, indicating that the OINP is targeting recent applicants with strong language skills and other qualifications.

This draw is part of Ontario’s ongoing efforts to attract and retain French-speaking immigrants. By focusing on Francophone candidates, Ontario aims to enhance the linguistic diversity of the province and support the growth of Francophone communities. So far in 2024, Ontario has invited a total of 26,609 candidates under the OINP.
