An Overview of the Employer Job Offer Category
The In-demand skills stream under the OINP Employer Job offer category conduct draws throughout the year. However, the frequency of the draws may depend on the demands of the program and the number of applications in the system. In addition, the dates of upcoming draws and the number of invitations to be given are normally made public in advance by OINP. The minimal score needed to receive an invitation to apply (ITA) might, however, vary from draw to draw as it depends on the number of applicants in the pool and the requirements of the program.
Note: The OINP’s current backlog of applications affects the scope and frequency of the Expression of Interest (NOI) selection. The draws are conducted every month having a few exceptions.
OINP may change the point values assigned to different elements or the minimum scores required for ITAs at any moment. Thus, it is important to note that meeting the minimum score does not guarantee an ITA since other factors such as program quotas and eligibility requirements can also come into play.
