Ontario PNP Organizes First In-Demand Skills Stream Draw
Ontario is the largest province in Canada and provides opportunities in many different industries to skilled immigrants. Ever since the introduction of the new Expression of Interest (EOI) system, Ontario has invited hundreds of eligible candidates.
Recently, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) organized its first-ever In-Demand Skills stream draw via the new intake system. The province issued 54 invitations within three weeks of introducing the In-Demand Skills stream to the new EOI system. The selected candidates will now be able to submit their application for a provincial nomination. The minimum required score for the candidates to receive an invitation was 11. The OINP also organized a draw for the Regional Immigration Pilot without any EOI score requirement, and only one candidate was invited.
