Ontario’s French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream in Canada

In order to draw skilled Francophone employees to the Canadian province of Ontario, the OINP) French-Speaking Skilled Worker stream was designed. This stream aims to assist Ontario in fulfilling its goal of encouraging French-speaking immigrants and strengthening the linguistic variety of the province.

Under this program, the OINP makes a nomination for Canadian permanent residency on behalf of qualified French-speaking skilled professionals who are fluent in English. Candidates must have a legitimate employment offer in Ontario or at least one year of recent, full-time experience in a skilled field. Additionally, they must satisfy the Ontario PNP points calculator’s definitions of the required levels of education, language proficiency, and adaptability. The possibility for French-speaking immigrants to settle in Ontario and contribute to its economy is provided via the French-Speaking Skilled Worker stream.
