Manitoba issued invitations to 335 Eligible Immigration Candidates
The Canadian province of Manitoba issued invitations to apply for a provincial nomination among 335 eligible immigration candidates. The draw was held on March 25. The invited candidates can now apply for a provincial nomination. If they manage to secure an invitation from the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program or MPNP, they will be able to qualify for permanent residence more swiftly.
The three PNP streams usually targeted by eligible immigrants with invitations are International Education Stream, Skilled Workers in Manitoba, and Skilled Workers Overseas. If you are interested in the Skilled Worker streams, you should submit an Expression of Interest or EOI profile.
Details of the draw
Express Entry candidates received 49 Letters of Advice to Apply or LAAs. A total of 285 candidates under Skilled Workers in Manitoba received invitations with a minimum Expression of Interest score of 423.
On the other hand, just 9 people received the invitations via the Skilled Workers Stream with a minimum EOI score of 711. There is no score requirement for the International Education Stream and 41 people qualified under it.
If you want to receive a provincial nomination from Manitoba, you must submit an Expression of Interest or EOI with the MPNP. If you satisfy all the eligibility requirements, then you have the chance to receive an LAA through the Skilled Workers Overseas and Skilled Workers in Manitoba streams. Both these streams target candidates who have the necessary professional skills to combat the labor deficits in the province.
Express Entry candidates who receive nominations from Manitoba will be rewarded with 600 extra CRS points which will propel them in the pool.
