Canada Express Entry Immigration PNP Draw

Saskatchewan has organized its biggest draw in a while to invite 502 new immigration candidates. The coronavirus pandemic led Canada to introduce multiple travel restrictions in March. All the candidates who received invitations during the round on July 29 will now be able to apply for permanent residence.

Details of the draw:

During the draw, the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) issued invitations belonging to the International Skilled Worker category. The chosen candidates belonged to the Express Entry and Occupations In-Demand sub-categories. The candidates belonging to both the sub-categories needed to have submitted Expression of Interest (EOI) profiles under the SINP in order to be considered for the invitation.

The SINP utilizes the EOI system to pick candidates with the maximum potential to make a good life in the province. Candidates must prove that they are committed to creating a life in Saskatchewan. They have to showcase their education, language proficiency, work experience, age, and any connections to the province.

The SINP assesses candidates on the basis of five factors, and then awards them a score on the International Skilled Worker Points Assessment Grid. The candidates with the highest scores receive an invitation that will allow them to apply for a provincial nomination from Saskatchewan.

Requirements:

The July 29 draws required candidates from both sub-categories to have a minimum score of 70.

During the invitation round, Saskatchewan gave 254 invitations to candidates with existing profiles in the federal Express Entry pool. The people who filled out an EOI for Saskatchewan, and secured a score of 70 on the SINP’s Points Assessment Grid might have been given preference. The Occupations In-Demand sub-category is ideal for immigration candidates without a federal Express Entry profile. The draw invited 248 Occupations In-Demand candidates.
