Ontario PNP Update

Are you considering immigrating to Ontario, Canada, through the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)? If so, you’ll want to stay informed about the latest developments, especially regarding the Employer: Job Offer stream. Recently, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) made a significant announcement that could impact your application process.

The Latest Update: New Employer Form Released

On April 10, 2024, the OINP introduced an updated Employer Form, officially named the Application for Approval of Employment Position (Employer Form). This new form bears the version code 2024/04 on the bottom left corner of every page. It is now mandatory for all nomination applications submitted under the Employer: Job Offer stream of the OINP.

Why It Matters

If you’re planning to apply for nomination through the Employer: Job Offer stream, it’s crucial to ensure that you use the updated Employer Form. Failure to do so may result in your application being deemed incomplete, leading to delays and potential complications. The OINP will return applications that include older versions of the form and refund the associated fees.
