New Brunswick PNP July 2023 Draw: 259 Express Entry Candidates Invited
In the dynamic world of Canadian immigration, the New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program (NBPNP) continues to be a pivotal player in welcoming skilled immigrants to the province. In their latest draw held in July 2023, the NBPNP extended a total of 259 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) across all three NBPNP Express Entry streams: New Brunswick Employment Connection, New Brunswick Student Connection, and New Brunswick Occupations in Demand Connection. This draw reaffirms Canada’s unwavering commitment to attracting top talent from across the globe.
Delving into the Numbers
The July 2023 draw, the most recent in a series of NBPNP draws, saw a distribution of ITAs among the three Express Entry streams as follows:
- New Brunswick Employment Connection: 58 Invitations
- New Brunswick Student Connection: 130 Invitations
- New Brunswick Occupations in Demand Connection: 71 Invitations
These numbers offer insight into the diverse range of candidates invited, from individuals with job offers in New Brunswick to international students pursuing their education in the province, and those possessing sought-after skills within the region. This strategic approach aligns perfectly with the province’s objective of addressing specific labor market needs while also nurturing a diverse and thriving community.
Frequency of NBPNP Draws and Eligibility Criteria
The frequency and size of NBPNP draws are not set in stone; they adapt to the province’s application backlog during each invitation round. Although these draws typically occur on a monthly basis, exceptions may arise based on program requirements and priorities. As a result, prospective immigrants are encouraged to stay abreast of the latest draw dates and updates.
An interesting facet of the NBPNP’s strategy is its active engagement with the federal Express Entry pool. This entails a regular search of the Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) Express Entry pool to identify candidates who meet the eligibility criteria for one of New Brunswick PNP’s streams. This proactive approach ensures a steady inflow of talent into the province, addressing its ever-evolving economic and demographic needs.
To gain insight into the program’s evolution, it’s valuable to consider the previous NB Express Entry stream draw held in June. During that draw, the NBPNP issued a total of 121 ITAs to eligible candidates in the federal Express Entry pool. This underscores the program’s consistency in extending invitations to candidates possessing the skills and qualifications aligned with New Brunswick’s specific requirements.
The Application Process Of NBPNP
For those fortunate enough to receive an ITA, time becomes of the essence. From the date of receiving an ITA, candidates have 45 days to submit a comprehensive application to the NB PNP. Upon approval of their application, they receive a provincial nomination, which opens the door for them to apply for Canadian Permanent Residency (PR). The final step involves accepting the nomination within 30 days through their Federal Express Entry account.
