Manitoba PNP Issued 438 Invitations to Eligible Candidates
Around 10,437 applicants were given invitations under Manitoba’s Provincial Nomination Program this year. In December, it invited 438 candidates, most of whom were from different Manitoba PNP (Provincial Nomination Programs).
Applicants were invited based on the Expression of Interest (EOI) score. EOI is the prime factor determining your interest and connections in the province. Your score will be evaluated on a scale of 1000 if you have family ties in Manitoba or have worked previously in the province.
This December, the invitations were issued to 358 candidates with a minimum of 449 EOI scores under the Skilled Workers in Manitoba PNP and 51 candidates under Skilled Workers Overseas PNP with 726 and 29 candidates under the International Education Stream with no prior requirements or EOI score. Along with this, 71 candidates were also issued invitations under the Express Entry Program.
Express Entry is a program by the Canadian government for immigrants who can apply for it under the Federal Skilled Worker Program, the Canadian Experience Class, and the Federal Skilled Trades Program. It’s the fastest way to get a permanent residency in Canada if you meet the eligibility requirements.
Applicants will be given a score based on their work experience, language skills, age, and the ones with the highest score will be invited to apply for permanent residence. However, it is not mandatory to apply for PNP if you’re going through the Express Entry, but there will be an added advantage as you’ll be getting 600 points automatically when you apply for the PNP.
