Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP)
Starting April 10, 2024, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) implemented a crucial update. Applicants are now required to submit the newly updated Employer Form, titled “Application for Approval of Employment Position (Employer Form)” with version code 2024/04. This form is mandatory for all new applications under the Employer: Job Offer stream. Ensure you use the latest version to avoid delays or rejection of your application.
British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP)
BC PNP introduced operational updates regarding the Skills Immigration draw timing. Invitations to apply for BC PNP Skills Immigration will now be sent to eligible registrations received before the draw date, effective April 30. To participate in the same week’s draw, candidates must submit their registrations before Monday, as draws are typically announced every Tuesday or Wednesday.

Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP)
Effective April 23, 2024, Alberta PNP, known as the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP), announced the termination of all temporary processing measures for Ukrainian nationals. Additionally, AAIP updated fees for various streams, including worker streams, entrepreneur streams, and expression of interest submissions. Here’s a breakdown of the updated fees:

Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP)
As of April 30, 2024, MPNP ended special measures for Ukrainian Expression of Interest (EOI) draws. Ukrainian applicants can continue to submit their EOIs like any other applicant. Additionally, new Ukrainian applicants will not be eligible for an application fee refund starting May 1, 2024. Manitoba is also prioritizing assessments of MPNP applications from candidates with expired or expiring work permits.
Nova Scotia Provincial Nominee Program (NS PNP)
Nova Scotia Provincial Nominee Program (NS PNP) ceased accepting applications in the Accommodation and Food Services sector as of April 17, 2024. This measure aims to manage the current application inventory due to a high volume of applications received from candidates in this sector.
