Canada On Pace To Exceed Its Goal Of Admitting 401,000 Immigrants
Although accomplishing the 401,000 targets is a daunting task but seeing the massive Express entry draws in February 2021, it can be easily achieved.
The basic aim behind launching such massive draws is to process the application of the 27,332 by the end of this year. By doing so the candidates will get enough time to complete their application and other formalities and land in Canada on time and can be counted under the Immigration Level plan.
Immigration Level Plan
Level plans aim at welcoming 60 percent of immigrants from economic class, 25 percent from the family class, and 15 percent from the refugee and Humanitarian class.
Immigrants invited from Economic class
To meet the economic class immigrant target, Canada is all set to provide permanent status to those who are in Canada.
Canada has to meet the target of 401,000 newcomers target as well. To do so, Canada aims to land 80,800 Immigrants through PNP and 15,500 through Atlantic Immigration Pilot (AIP) federal program under the Immigration Level Plan. While Quebec calls for 30,000 economic class immigrants this year.
Apart from this, Canada aims to welcome 108,500 immigrants through express entry this year under the Immigration Level Plan. Out of which it has already offered 37,986 ITA in 2021. Another 30,000 or more ITAs are to be offered by the IRCC to meet the Express entry target by the end of this year. Canada is planning to launch bi-weekly draws in April to offer at least 5,000 ITAs. IRCC is encouraging more PNP-aligned Express Entry programs to invite more candidates.
Immigrants invited from family and refugee class
Canada aims to invite 66,000 candidates from refugee and humanitarian class and 103,500 from family class this year. Immigrant’s target set for the family is easy to achieve as there is no travel restriction imposed on family class.
