The Canadian province of Alberta invited 350 express entry candidates on January 18 in the second draw of the year. The nominated candidates will be one step closer to Canadian permanent residence as the provincial nominee can apply to the federal government under the PNP. One can easily immigrate to Canada through express entry without a provincial nomination. The Provincial Nominee Program offers an opportunity for express entry candidates with lower CRS to get 600 points as an award.
