418 PNP Candidates Invited by Saskatchewan Immigration Program
The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program or SINP organized a new draw on March 24 to invite skilled candidates. The people who received invitations during this draw will now have the chance to apply for a provincial nomination. They should look to submit their application within 30 days of receiving the invitation.
Requirements of the Saskatchewan Immigration Program
The SINP chooses candidates who show the potential to be eligible for a nomination, mainly via the International Skilled Worker category.
Candidates, irrespective of their streams, were required to have an Expression of Interest or EOI score of 70 at the very least. They also had to provide their Educational Credential Assessments in order to show that their international education credentials are comparable to the Canadian equivalent.
Moreover, the SINP wants the candidates to have professional work experience in any of the 78 eligible occupations. Social workers, medical laboratory technicians, and educational counselors are some of the eligible professions in Saskatchewan.
Among the people who were invited, 183 of them might be considered eligible for the Express Entry subcategory of the SINP. On the other hand, 235 of them could receive a nomination via the Occupation In-Demand subcategory.
People registered in the Express Entry pool will have an extra 600 points added to their total CRS score which means that they will automatically be at an advantage compared to the rest. The boosted score allows them to receive permanent residence invitations sooner.
