Ontario PNP draw issues invitations to 699 immigration candidates
The Canadian province of Ontario recently distributed invitations among Express Entry candidates who have work experience in any one of nine specific occupations that were listed. Ontario invited 699 Express Entry candidates who will now be able to apply for a provincial nomination. This draw recorded 358 as the minimum CRS score that the Express Entry candidates needed to have to be chosen. The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) draw focused on candidates who could fulfill the requirements for the Human Capital Priorities Stream (HCP) under the Express Entry system.

The following nine occupations were taken into consideration when issuing Notifications of Interest (NOIs) during the latest invitation round:

Requirements:
The Express Entry candidates with a minimum of one-year work experience in Canada had to show that they had a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score between 358 and 439 so as to get an invitation from Ontario. The draw issued 167 NOIs to candidates who already have work experience in Canada. Most of the invitations were distributed among candidates with international work experience. More than 530 of the invited candidates acquired the required work experience on foreign land.
Such candidates were required to have CRS scores between 471 and 500. All the invited candidates already had profiles registered in the federal Express Entry system, which forms the backbone of Canadian immigration. The CRS system is used to assign rankings to candidates based on human capital factors.
