First PNP Draw

On January 25, 2023, the economic immigration stream – Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) held its first Master’s Graduate invitation in its most recent PNP draw. The draw issued EOIs to 692 candidates with CRS scores of 44 and higher.

692 candidates in the Master’s Graduate program who received CRS scores of 44 or higher received EOIs as a result of the draw. The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program is the name of the economic immigration route (OINP).

The OINP was created in collaboration with IRCC to allow foreign employees, international students, and other people with the necessary qualifications for training, work experience, and education to apply for an OINP nomination.

Highlights of The OINP EOI Draw – Who Was Invited?

With OINP’s Master’s Graduate Stream, potential international graduate students can work and settle in Ontario permanently after completing an Ontario Master’s degree. As stated above, the draw issued invitations to 692 candidates with a CRS score of 44 and over. The province conducted a general draw. The profiles were created from the period of November 22, 2022, to January 25, 2023.

A Guide to Immigrating to Ontario

OINP utilizes the Expression of Interest (EOI) system in order to determine which potential candidates meet the requirements and eligibility standards for the various immigration streams. Then, an Invitation to Apply (ITA) is issued to candidates.

An Invitation to Apply (ITA), however, does not automatically entitle you to one of the OINP streams. If you meet the requirements for the stream listed in your ITA and have obtained an ITA to apply for Canada PR updates, you may submit your application online.

After getting the invitation to apply, you have 14 days to submit your Canada PR application. The program manages five streams:

Ontario’s Master Graduate Stream for International Students

International graduates holding an Ontario master’s degree have the option to apply to live and work permanently in Ontario through the Masters’s Graduate stream.

Before submitting an online application to be nominated for permanent residency by the Ontario government, you must first register in the OINP’s Expression of Interest System and obtain an invitation to apply. You may also get all the Canada visa updates!

The next step is to submit an application to the federal government through Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada. IRCC will decide who gets a permanent residency.
