Immigration Announcement
Ontario Has Shut Down The Registration Window For The Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker Stream
If you were interested in the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker stream, you will be disappointed to know that the stream has already reached the registration limit. In case you managed to snag a place before the closure, you should breathe a sigh of relief because Ontario has announced that registration for the stream will now remain closed until further notice. The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) had expected a significant number of people to visit the website and register, and the prediction came true.
Ontario opened the registration process for the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker Stream back on October 21. It was mandatory for immigration candidates to have a current job offer as well as an up-to-date Employer Form if they wanted to apply for the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). In their media release, the OINP said that candidates could see a high-volume message page or find themselves in a priority queue if a large number of people tried to access the system.
Details of the registration
In most cases, the stream closes the same day it opens. The system closed down automatically after the threshold for registrants was met. In order to register, candidates needed to access the OINP e-Filing Portal directly from the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker stream webpage on the IRCC website.
Your job offer should have been current when submitting an application. The application should be submitted with all the required supporting documents like an up-to-date job offer. Unless candidates submit the most recent version of for, they will not qualify.
The OINP makes it clear that candidates should always pay attention when filling in the date of birth because the OINP doesn’t let you edit it later now.
