New Manitoba EOI draw invited 347 skilled workers and international graduates in the latest draw
The Canadian province of Manitoba announced another draw on September 12, which invited a total of 347 skilled foreign workers and international graduates to apply for provincial nomination.
The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) has issued over 6,157 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) so far this year through its three immigration pathways: Skilled Worker in Manitoba, Skilled Worker Overseas and it’s International Education Stream.
Skilled Worker in Manitoba
A total of 254 LAAs were issued to candidates on September 12, in the Skilled Worker in the Manitoba category. In order to be eligible, a candidate must first create an Expression of Interest (EoI) profile in which they are required to provide their education qualification, work experience, and language proficiency, among other factors. Each profile is then given a score out of 1000, and the highest-scoring candidates are invited to apply for the provincial nomination. The minimum score in the latest draw was 545.
Skilled Worker Overseas Stream
In the September 12 draw, 53 LAAs were issued to candidates in MPNP’s Skilled Worker Overseas Category. The candidates were invited directly through a Strategic Recruitment Initiative that includes overseas recruitment missions organized by MPNP in association with Manitoba employers. The lowest score under this category was 706.
International Education Stream
Another 40 LAAs were issued to Manitoba graduates through the MPNP’s International Stream. There are three subcategories in this stream:
- Career Employment Pathway
- Graduate Internship Pathway
- Student Entrepreneur Pathway
