New Brunswick Held Three Express Entry Draws in 2023, Invited 416 Candidates

In the most recent rounds of provincial nominee programs (PNP), express entry candidates have been invited to apply from the province of New Brunswick.  The Provincial Nominee Program of New Brunswick – NBPNP, held three draws in 2023 and issued a total of 416 invitations.

In Canada, there are a number of provincial and territorial nomination programs (PNPs). Under these programs, interested candidates are invited to apply for their provincial nomination. Receiving a provincial nomination can be a valuable step toward attaining permanent residency.

Highlights of the New Brunswick Draw 2023 – Who was Invited?

In the month of April, the province of New Brunswick announced the results of the March draw. The draw invited a total number of 86 invitations to candidates to apply for the provincial nomination.

The province through this draw invited:

  • 45 candidates through the NB Employment Connection
  • 27 through the NB Student Connection
  • 14 via the NB occupations-In Demand Connection

New Brunswick conducted an express entry draw in the month of March and issued a total number of 186 invitations to candidates to apply for the provincial nomination. Here’s a breakdown of the results:

  • 70 candidates through the NB Employment Connection
  • 42 through the NB Student Connection
  • 74 via the NB occupations-In Demand Connection

The province of New Brunswick also held its Express Entry draw in the month of February 2023. The draw invited a total of 144 invitations. Here are the results of the draw:

  • 86 candidates through the NB Employment Connection
  • 51 through the NB Student Connection
  • 07 via the NB occupations-In Demand Connection

The NBPNP’s backlog of applications is determined by the scope and frequency of the Expression of Interest (NOI) selection. The draws are conducted every month having a few exceptions. Also, there is no prediction or announcement related to the dates of selection for the next Ontario on any PNP draw.

The New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Programme (NBPNP), an immigration program is designed to draw skilled employees, business owners, and foreign graduates to the Canadian province of New Brunswick. The PNP, which is operated by the provincial government of New Brunswick in collaboration with the federal government also strives to meet the needs of the province’s labor market and economy. The PNP in New Brunswick has a number of streams that offer various immigrant populations. These include the Post-Graduate Entrepreneurial Stream, the Entrepreneurial Stream, the Skilled Workers with Employer Support Stream, and the Express Entry Labour Market Stream.
