Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program Welcomes 273 Candidates
Canadian province Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program has now welcomed 1031 immigration candidates to apply for a nomination on February 10. The MPNP invited candidates from three PNPs. Here’s a quick breakdown of the invitations from each program as well as the minimum score cut-off according to the province’s Expression of Interest system.
Skilled Workers in Manitoba – 202 invitations with a minimum score of 615
Skilled Workers Overseas – 31 invitations with a minimum score of 705
International Education Stream – 40 invitations with no score requirement
Out of these invitations, 68 were issued to the immigration candidates in the express entry system.
Manitoba Immigration Program
The Canadian province of Manitoba manages its immigration program through MPNP, which supports immigration applications to the federal government of Canada. The provinces do not have the authority to give out permanent residency status, however, they can file an application by issuing provincial nominations. If you wish to have a nomination from Manitoba, then you need to register an EOI with Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program. This will put you in a position to receive an LAA through Skilled Workers in Manitoba and Skilled Workers Overseas streams.
Manitoba evaluates immigration candidates out of 1000 points for their human capital factors. Both the MPNPs streams are designed to allow the province to identify immigration candidates who fulfill their labour market requirements.
Foreign candidates are required to exhibit connections to the province of Manitoba through close family ties, previous experience in the province, or an invitation through one of Manitoba’s strategic recruitment initiatives.
