In a significant move to bolster its skilled workforce, Manitoba opened its doors wide in the latest draw of the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) on May 9, 2024. With 371 Letters of Advice (LAAs) issued, hopeful candidates are now one step closer to realizing their dreams of permanent residency in Canada.

Skilled Workers in Manitoba Stream 

  • Occupation-Specific Draw: In this targeted draw, Manitoba focused on occupations crucial to its labor market needs. A total of 18 LAAs were issued to skilled workers employed in Manitoba, particularly in occupations identified as high in demand.
  • Number of LAAs: 18
  • Lowest-Ranked Candidate Ranking Score: 836

Occupations Considered

  • Supervisors, motor transport, and other ground transit operators (NOC 72024)
  • Bus drivers, subway operators, and other transit operators (NOC 73301)

All Profiles – Skilled Worker in Manitoba

Every eligible Skilled Worker in Manitoba profile received due consideration in this draw, resulting in 242 LAAs being extended.

Candidates meeting the eligibility requirements of Manitoba’s International Education Stream were granted 76 LAAs in this draw.

For skilled workers overseas, Manitoba’s Strategic Recruitment Initiative paved the way for 35 candidates to receive LAAs directly from the MPNP.
