Immigrants opportunities For Canada immigration

Two Canadian ministers decided to express their views on the importance of immigration to Canada’s economy in a new article. They asserted that the progressive immigration policies that have been implemented by Canada are laying the foundation for the country’s success in the 21st century.

Marco Mendicino, who is Canada’s Minister of Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship, and Navdeep Bains, who is the Minister of Innovation, Science, and Industry, made it clear that immigration is invaluable for Canada’s growth.

Mendicino’s family came to Canada from Italy after the Second World War, and Bains’ family hailed from India. In 2020, these two ministers are two real-life examples of the success that has been achieved by immigrants across Canada. They have the responsibility of examining portfolios that can prove to be critical for the country’s economic development.

Canada provides limitless opportunities to immigrants

In their article, Mendicino and Bains pointed out that the journey as new immigrants in Canada could prove to be difficult in the beginning, but the country ensures that newcomers receive plenty of opportunities to attain success.

The two ministers are now in charge of enacting policies that can further promote Canada’s positive immigration cycle. Both the immigrants and the country benefit from this symbiotic relationship. Canada gives opportunities to immigrants, while they provide economic and social support.

The ministers share the mandate of making Canada attractive to foreign workers, immigrants, and international students to Canada. The federal government introduced the Global Talent Stream in 2017 in order to support the mandate. The program has succeeded in convincing thousands of tech workers to come to Canada. In the process, they have created more jobs to fuel the economy.

Canada is looking forward to welcoming even more global talent in 2020.
