Choosing the perfect province in Canada to immigrate to

Canadian immigration has gained worldwide popularity in a short period of time. The country offers numerous pathways for international candidates to make their way into the country. Many people have an idea that certain Canadian provinces are easier to immigrate to than the rest, but that is not entirely true. All the provinces that participate in the PNP have their own unique streams because they have been designed specifically to fulfill the province’s market labor needs. Many also choose to cater to particular categories of immigrants.

Choosing the ‘perfect’ province

If you meet all the required criteria of the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) that you want to apply for, you will find it easy to immigrate to almost any province. While this might sound obvious to people who have already secured a job offer in a specific province, many people outside Canada need the clarification.

It is not very easy to find the perfect PNP for yourself, and the process might take a while. However, the results will be worth all your effort. Your choice of the PNP will rely on your situation, your overall skills, and the job experience you are offering that will allow you to meet the requirements of the local labor market. Apart from Nunavut and Quebec, almost all regions in Canada have their own PNP–specific streams.

Wide range of options

The immigration pathways offered by the provinces are created to fulfill the specific needs of the labor market of the province. In many cases, they are meant for a particular category of immigrants- skilled, entrepreneur, unskilled, or international students. There are close to 80 unique streams available at the moment. Securing a provincial nomination under the Express Entry system will allow you to add 600 points to your Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score.
