TR to PR Pathway Fee Structure
For foreign nationals transitioning from Temporary Resident (TR) status to PR after residing in Canada on study or work permits, a modified fee structure is in place:
- Application Processing Fee: $570.00
- Spouse or Partner (Processing Fee): $570.00
- Dependent Child: $155.00 (per child)
Other Permanent Residence Fees
Beyond the application process, additional fees come into play:
Permanent Resident Cards: $50.00
This identification document validates a foreign national’s PR status, serving as a travel document for entry into Canada.
Permanent Resident Travel Document (PRTD): $50.00

Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF): $515.00
