- Working Holiday: Participants receive an open work permit to work anywhere in the host country while exploring its diverse landscapes and cultures.
- International Co-op (Internship): This category provides participants with a specific work permit tailored to their field of study. It offers targeted work experience aligned with their academic pursuits.
- Young Professionals: Participants are granted an employer-specific work permit, allowing them to gain professional work experience relevant to their career aspirations.
Accessible Opportunities
Interested individuals can apply for any of these programs starting March 1, 2023. This initiative builds upon Canada’s longstanding commitment to fostering cross-cultural connections through the IEC program, which has partnerships with over 35 countries and territories.
The Canada-Finland Youth Mobility Scheme represents more than just an opportunity to work and travel; it embodies the spirit of collaboration, cultural exchange, and personal growth. By facilitating meaningful experiences for young citizens, this initiative paves the way for a brighter, more interconnected future between Canada and Finland.
