Ontario Welcomes 1032 PNP Candidates in the Latest Draw
Ontario held it’s first Express Entry Skilled Trades draw on 27 January and has invited 1032 PNP candidates in the latest draw. OINP welcomed immigration candidates with Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) scores between 381 and 461. The candidates who submitted their profiles between January 27, 2021, and January 27, 2022, were invited to apply for the PR.
If the invited immigration candidates receive the nomination, they will automatically bag 600 CRS points and will stand eligible to receive an ITA from the provincial nominee program-specific express entry draw. And, the shortlisted candidates will have 45 calendar days to apply for the provincial nomination.
Ontario Express Entry Skilled Trades Stream
This stream offers a pathway to permanent residency for FSWP and CEC candidates. Ontario PNP Draw invites eligible immigration candidates to apply for a provincial nomination. To stand eligible, immigration candidates are required to be living in Ontario with a valid work permit and have a minimum of one year of full-time work experience. The very first step to be considered for a provincial nomination is to submit a profile to the express entry system.
Express Entry
It is an application management system that allows people to apply for PR to IRCC. Express Entry is not an immigration program itself, but it manages the applications for FSWP and CEC. If you qualify for one or more of these programs, you can then create an Express Entry profile. Once you upload all the documents, age and language ability, among the other essential criteria. The highest scoring immigration candidates issue ITAs, which allow them to apply for permanent residence.
