Manitoba PNP Draw Issues 111 Invitations to Skilled Workers

Manitoba has successfully conducted its latest Expression of Interest (EOI) draw, inviting skilled workers to apply for provincial nomination. A total of 111 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) were issued in this draw, held on March 6, 2025. The selection targeted candidates under two key immigration streams: Skilled Worker in Manitoba and Skilled Worker Overseas.
This latest draw aims to attract qualified professionals who meet Manitoba’s labor market needs and contribute to the province’s economic growth. The Skilled Worker in Manitoba stream focused on individuals currently employed in the province with strong ties to the local workforce. Meanwhile, the Skilled Worker Overseas stream selected candidates who received direct invitations through Manitoba’s strategic recruitment initiatives.

Important Considerations for Applicants
Direct Invitations for Skilled Worker Overseas Candidates
Only those invited under a strategic recruitment initiative were considered in this draw. If an applicant’s score is above the minimum cut-off but they did not receive an invitation, it may be due to the following reasons:
- Language Test Issues: The applicant declared an approved English or French language test but did not provide a valid test number, or the test results have expired.
- Invalid Strategic Recruitment Initiative Number: The applicant indicated they received an invitation but did not provide a valid number.
Candidates should review their EOI submissions carefully and ensure all details are up to date to increase their chances in future draws.
Licensing and Regulated Occupations in Manitoba
Applicants working in regulated occupations must be fully licensed to work in Manitoba. Those who receive an LAA but fail to provide proof of licensing may have their application refused. Candidates in this situation may consider declining their LAA to avoid complications.
Next Steps for Candidates in 2025
