The IEC program, which includes the Working Holiday, Young Professionals, and International Co-op categories, offers young individuals from participating countries the opportunity to live and work in Canada temporarily. This program not only enhances cultural exchange but also helps address labor market needs in various sectors across Canada.

In 2024, Canada has issued a total of 85,147 ITAs under the IEC program, reflecting the high demand and popularity of this initiative among international youth. These opportunities allow young people to gain valuable work experience, explore Canada, and contribute to the country’s economy.

As IRCC continues to issue invitations, aspiring applicants are encouraged to stay updated on draw results and prepare their applications to seize this unique opportunity to experience Canada.
