Alberta Express Entry Draw Issues 200 Invitations to Eligible Candidates
The Canadian province of organized Alberta Express Entry draw to invite eligible candidates who can try to get a provincial nomination. Express Entry is the primary application management system used by Canada for the Federal High Skilled immigration pathways.
The Alberta Immigrant Nominee program or the AINP issued a total of 200 invitations to candidates belonging to the Express Entry pool. They will now be able to submit applications to receive a provincial nomination through the Alberta Express Entry draw.
The minimum CRS score required by the candidates to qualify for an invitation was 302. Anybody looking to get invited via the Provincial Nominee Program must already have a profile under the Express Entry system.
Requirements
Candidates usually receive a score on the basis of their age, work experience, education and language skills. Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada organizes Express Entry draws regularly. The people with the highest scores usually get a chance to become permanent residents. Provincial nominees are awarded 600 extra CRS points which helps boost their score.
The Alberta Express Entry stream acts as an enhanced PNP for people who already have strong connections with the province. They can help in the economic progress of Alberta and also support the diversification priorities. For now, Alberta is only considering candidates who are already living in the province since international travel is still highly restricted. The chosen candidates have professional experience in any of the eligible occupations.
