Quebec Held a New RSWP Draw, Invited 1,020 Candidates
On April 20, 2023, the Ministry of Immigration, Francization, and Integration (MIFI) held a fresh draw for the Quebec Regular Skilled Worker Program (RSWP). Quebec, in its most recent RSWP draw, invited candidates to have a legitimate in-demand job offer outside the Montreal Metropolitan Community. In addition, the province also asked intended candidates to have an academic and job experience in a Canadian occupation.
Highlights of the Draw – Who Was Invited?
A total of 1,020 candidates received invitations to apply for permanent selection following the draw. In the draw, potential candidates are required to have at least 598 points on their profiles in the Arrima Expression of Interest (EOI) system. In addition, they had an in-demand employment offer from a location outside the Montréal Metropolitan Area.
What is the Eligibility to Apply for Quebec RSWP?
A program for talented people who want to immigrate to Canada to live and work in Quebec is called the Quebec Regular Skilled Worker Program (RSWP).
Quebec also has its own standards for choosing competent personnel. The Quebec points calculator, a points-based system used in the province, assesses applicants based on a range of criteria, including age, education, work experience, and language proficiency. You must obtain a certain minimum number of points in order to be eligible for the program.
