Saskatchewan Issues 269 Invitations to Immigration Candidates

The Canadian province of Saskatchewan recently organized a draw on May 25 to invite skilled candidates. The Canadian province of Saskatchewan issued invitations to 269 immigration candidates who can now submit their application for a provincial nomination.

Candidates want to receive a nomination from the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) because it increases their CRS score by 600 points. They will have a higher chance of obtaining permanent residence as compared to other candidates.

Saskatchewan distributed the invitations among immigration candidates who can meet the eligibility requirements of a nomination from the SINP. For the May 25 draw, the province targeted candidates belonging to the Occupations In-Demand sub-category of the International Skilled Worker category.

The Occupations In-Demand sub-category is even available to candidates without an Express Entry profile. It acts as a base PNP and targets skilled workers who have occupational experience in one of the in-demand professions in Saskatchewan. Candidates can consider this stream even if they have not managed to get a job offer.

Details of the draw

For the May 25 draw, Saskatchewan invited Occupations In-Demand candidates with a minimum score of 65. The candidates were also required to present their Educational Credential Assessments to prove that their international education matched the Canadian standards.

Saskatchewan has a tailored Expression of Interest (EOI) system that lets the province invite candidates with the potential to be successful in the province. A number of factors like work experience, educational qualifications, language skills, and age are taken into consideration when evaluating candidates.
