Canada welcoming immigrants.

Canada is known for its welcoming attitude towards immigrants. The country has taken it upon themselves to become a better and safer country of immigrants where everyone can live happily. As a result, the country has been receiving applications from highly skilled laborers who want to become permanent residents under the immigration programs.

With the influx of new talent and skilled labor, the employment rate of recent immigrants who are aged between 25 and 54 has made a record. The Canadian Press reported that the figure reached a 12-year high back in 2018. According to them, they managed to obtain a federal memo from the Finance Ministry memo dated in the month of January.

According to the memo, the employment rate among immigrants who came to Canada less than five years ago belonging to this particular age group was 71%. In fact, this is the highest rate of employment that has been recorded since the year 2006. The memo also went on to say that there was a similar trend emerging among immigrants who arrived in Canada between five and ten years ago.

This rise can be attributed to the increased number of immigrants who have begun to view the country as their home. The federal government’s newly launched multi-year immigration levels plan makes way for more immigrants to be successful in Canada according to the memo. The ministry is also confident about Canada’s high job-creation numbers, which has managed to accommodate so many people.

The memo credited the exceptional employment results to the efficiency of provincial and federal immigration programs which place emphasis on human capital factors like skilled work experience, language proficiency, and education. The memo states that Canada has developed a warm and positive approach towards immigrants which has really helped them settle down.
