Ontario PNP Draw Invited 889 Candidates Under the Employer Job Offer Category
On April 04, 2023, the province of Ontario held a new draw for Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program streams. The draw issued EOIs to 889 candidates. The province invited candidates under the Employer Job offer category that includes the following streams:
- Foreign Worker stream
- Masters Graduate stream
- Ph.D. Graduate stream
Highlights of the Draw – Who Was Invited?
Foreign Worker Stream
Under the foreign worker stream, a total number of 06 potential candidates. The draw invited candidates with an Express Entry profile that was created between November 22, 2022 – April 04, 2023. The province conducted a targeted draw that included the Economic Mobility Pathways Project candidates.
Masters Graduate Stream
Ontario under the Master’s Graduate Stream issued a total number of 752 invitations with a CRS score ranging between 52 and above. The province in its general draw invited candidates with an Express Entry profile that was created between November 22, 2022 – April 04, 2023.
Ph.D. Graduate Stream
The province under the Ph.D. Graduate Stream issued a total number of 131 invitations with a CRS score ranging between 48 and above. This was the targeted draw that invited candidates from the tech and health occupation categories. The province invited candidates with an Express Entry profile that was created between November 22, 2022 – April 04, 2023.
Note: The OINP’s current backlog of applications affects the scope and frequency of the Expression of Interest (NOI) selection. The draws are conducted every month having a few exceptions. Also, there is no prediction or announcement related to the dates of selection for the next Ontario on any PNP draw.

OINP utilizes the Expression of Interest (EOI) system in order to determine which potential candidates meet the requirements and eligibility standards for the various immigration streams. Then, an Invitation to Apply (ITA) is issued to candidates.
An Invitation to Apply (ITA), however, does not automatically entitle you to one of the OINP streams. If you meet the requirements for the stream listed in your ITA and have obtained an ITA to apply for Canada PR updates, you may submit your application online.
After getting the invitation to apply, you have 14 days to submit your Canada PR application. The program manages five streams:
- Foreign Worker Stream
- International Student Stream
- In-Demand Skills Stream
- Masters Graduate Stream
- Ph.D. Graduate Stream
