Ontario invites 997 Express Entry candidates with management and financial work experience
Good news for all the aspiring candidates with management and financial work experience who were waiting for the right opportunity. Ontario, one of the most popular provinces in Canada has carried out its another draw on August 15 which targets Express Entry candidates with management and financial work experience.
The draw issued 997 invitations to Express Entry candidates to apply for Canada permanent residence. Applicants invited under this draw were required to have work experience in one of the 10 occupations, along with a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score ranging from 439 to 465.
The following ten industries are being targeted at the moment:
- Other administrative services managers (0114)
- Corporate sales managers (0601)
- Professional occupations in business management consulting (1122)
- Retail and wholesale trade managers (0621)
- Advertising, marketing, and public relations managers (0124)
- Financial auditors and accountants (1111)
- Registered nurses and registered psychiatric nurses (3012)
- Financial managers (0111)
- Other financial officers (1114)
- Managers in customer and personal services (0651)
The first step for a candidate to be considered for the draw is to create an Express Entry profile. A candidate must meet the eligibility criteria of both the federal as well as provincial for the Human Capital Priorities Stream. Those who are provincially nominated get 600 additional points towards their CRS score, which would ensure an invitation to apply for permanent residence in the subsequent Express Entry draw. Another highlight of the draw is, no job offer is required to be eligible under the OINP’s Human Capital Priorities Stream.
