Ontario Immigration Streams in 2024
Some OINP streams are “enhanced,” meaning they’re aligned with the federal Express Entry system. Candidates nominated under these streams receive an additional 600 points in their Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score, significantly boosting their chances of receiving an invitation to apply for Canadian permanent residency.
The OINP offers additional streams beyond the Human Capital Priorities:
- Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker, International Student, and In-Demand Skills streams
- Masters Graduate and Ph.D. Graduate streams
- Entrepreneur stream
If you’re interested in immigrating to Ontario through the OINP, here’s what to do:
- Assess your eligibility: Review the program requirements and determine which stream best suits your skills and experience.
- Submit an Expression of Interest (EOI): Create a profile highlighting your qualifications and submit it to the OINP.
- Wait for an invitation: If your profile aligns with the OINP’s needs, you may receive an ITA to submit a full application.
The latest Ontario Express entry and PNP draw usher in a new era of possibilities for candidates, underscoring the province’s dedication to fostering excellence in the Tech and Health sectors.
While specific dates aren’t announced, OINP draws usually occur bi-monthly. Stay informed by checking their website for updates. Take the first step and explore the possibilities today!
