Express Entry Draw for Healthcare and Social Workers

Canada continues to strengthen its immigration system by welcoming skilled professionals through the latest Express Entry draw for healthcare and social workers.

On July 22, 2025, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) invited 4,000 candidates to apply for permanent residence under this targeted stream. The minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score required was 475 points, which is 29 points lower than the previous round.

This was the third occupation-specific draw of 2025 focusing on healthcare and social service occupations. With a tie-breaking rule set at March 13, 2025, 13:08:29 UTC, IRCC demonstrated its intent to prioritize essential workers. As of July 20, 2025, there were 256,914 active profiles in the Express Entry pool. So far, 27 draws have issued 49,403 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) this year.
