Canada announced as the top nation for immigration and investment

The last few years have seen Canada rising in the global community. With countries like the United States of America and Great Britain struggling to establish immigration policies favorable to everyone, Canada has managed to lay the foundation for a strong and dependable immigration system. So, it comes as no surprise that people all around the globe have fallen in love with the Canadian brand and given it the recognition of being one of the best in the world. 2019 saw Canada ranking third out of 50 countries in the study of the Anholt-Ipsos Nation Brands Index.

Last year, it gained fifth place overall, and the improvement shows. The two countries that were able to get higher scores than Canada are France and Germany. The latter occupied the top spot and scored significantly higher than Canada. All the rankings were assigned based on 20,035 online interviews. The interviews were conducted with adults over the age of 18, and the candidates were chosen from over 20 countries.
Canada received in the first rank in three of the six individual categories. All 50 countries were given ranks for the individual groups, along with the overall rank. Canada topped in the categories of people, governance, and most importantly, immigration and investment.
