British Columbia PNP Invites 89 Applications in Tech Draw
British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program Tech Draw is mainly for those candidates who already match the criteria for Skills Immigration or Express Entry BC Stream of British Columbia PNP program. Though this was launched just four years ago, it was an instant success, so it is now a permanent program.
In November, 89 workers in the tech field were invited to apply for the program, and they were the ones with a minimum provincial score of 78. As of now, around 11,000 candidates have been given the invitation to apply for the program. The ones with the invitations have a time period of 30 days to apply for the program.
Immigrants will benefit from this Express-pathway program as they can easily apply for permanent residency in Canada if they are eligible for this. It’s also an excellent way for employers to keep international talent contributing immensely to their business when the local market lacks resources.
How to Qualify for a British Columbia PNP?
Skilled employees can get the opportunity to become permanent residents through this program, and it allows employers to find talented candidates that fit their business needs and those who are in short supply of talent in their own province.
Since this program is for international students and workers in the tech field, the candidate should have a job valid for 12 months or have at least 120 days left while applying for the program. The offer letter should be from a legal employer from the province, and the occupation should be under any one of the eligible streams to fulfill the program’s requirements.
Those candidates who have the highest score and who meet the eligibility criteria will be sent an invitation to apply for the program. Once the applications are submitted, it will take two to three months to process them.
