Immigration Refugees and Citizenship IRCC

The Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada or IRCC will now be able to answer all your questions by phone once more. If you have any questions related to your immigration or any other immigration issue, you will be able to get in touch with them directly. This service stopped for a while, but it is back now, so you can take advantage of it.

The immigration department will answer your questions directly, leaving no room for any misunderstanding. You can quickly place a call and have your doubts resolved by phone. This is an important step because we are living in uncertain times. Canada is constantly updating its coronavirus measures depending on the situation across the globe, and candidates must remain aware of the changes. They will be able to clarify any miscommunication about the rules immediately.

When can you use the service?

The strict implementation of the prevention measures was accompanied by a communication gap. However, that has now been rectified. The IRCC has begun accepting calls already.

However, candidates should be aware that they are not functioning at their full capacity, so it might take a while for you to get the service you are looking for. The phone lines will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m EST, all through Monday to Friday. You will be able to submit online inquiries 24 hours every day with no exception if you use IRCC’s webform.

Will the system work smoothly?

This new phone system allows agents to work remotely because of the social distancing rules in place. In a media release, the IRCC warned that this new set up could lead to technical issues. If you want to use the phone service, be patient and considerate.
