Saskatchewan Has Released The Results Of Two PNP Immigration Draws
The province of Saskatchewan has not let the pandemic hamper its immigration plans. In fact, it is more active than ever and is trying to invite eligible candidates who will help the province progress. Saskatchewan held two Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draws recently and has made the details of both public.
What should candidates do?
Applicants who want to receive an invitation from the province in the future should create their SINP Expression of Interest profile. The Expression of Interest system is a crucial element of the immigration system and is used to manage skilled worker applications.
One of the main things that Saskatchewan looks at when giving invitations is whether you will be a good fit for the province. They want to admit people who will be able to settle there successfully. You should try to depict why you are perfect for the province through your education, language skills, age, and work experience.
Details of the draws
Saskatchewan targeted the candidates in the Express Entry category on October 7 and issued invitations to 455 of them. The score requirement was just 70.
On the other hand, the draw held on October 21 invited 618 immigration candidates who are now free to apply for provincial nomination. Securing a nomination can be very beneficial for any dedicated candidate because it provides a boost to their CRS score. The draw mainly focused on candidates belonging to the Occupations In-Demand and Express Entry categories. 340 successful candidates belonged to the Express Entry pool while 278 of them received their invitations via the Occupations In-Demand category.
Taking into account the fact that there is a pandemic going on, Saskatchewan has been doing an excellent job of selecting immigrants. 3,040 Express Entry applicants and 3,018 Occupations In-Demand candidates have been invited so far in 2020.
