Alberta sends out new invitations with CRS as low as 300

The Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) ‘s latest March draw invited around 100 candidates with scores as low as 300. The nomination also allows candidates to gain an additional 600 points in a subsequent Express Entry draw.

While a job offer can add to the score, anyone receiving a Notification of Interest (NOI) will not need one to qualify.

The Comprehensive Ranking System, acknowledged by the acronym CRS, is a qualification process that helps candidates gain permanent residency in the country. Those with provincial nomination receives a higher score, which makes it easier for the candidates to receive an Invitation to Apply and qualify for permanent residence. Candidates can qualify for the Express Entry program’s three different streams – the Canadian Experience Class, the Federal Skilled Trades Program, and the popular Federal Skilled Worker Program.

Alberta’s Express Entry System: What does it take to qualify?

Alberta, surrounded by natural beauty on all sides is also a fortress for human progress, and one of Canada’s rapidly growing economies. To be invited to Alberta’s Express Entry stream, candidates are evaluated on their language skills, age, academic qualification, and work experience. Also, you need to be working in a job that supports the province’s current economic and diversification needs.

However, the AINP doesn’t have a specific set of eligible occupations.

According to the AINP program, candidates with a job offer from Alberta or a post-secondary degree from a Canadian institution in the province have a better chance to qualify. Those having a family, including parents, children, or siblings, also have a priority to get invited for permanent residency through the Express Entry stream.

This year has seen Alberta issuing more than 751 invitations to Express Entry candidates to date.
